Are there any hidden costs and can i cancel at any time? There are no hidden costs, no VAT or local taxex - All you have to pay is the price per year shown in the pricing pages. You can cancel at any time as well. Note that no refund is given for the remainder of your hosting period. Are there pop-ups or ads? No - There are no popups or advertisements on your website. You have full control over the content (providing it agrees with our terms and conditions). Can I pick a .co.uk domain name? You can pick any domain name you wish. You can either register .com, .co.uk, .org, .net, .org.uk domain names through us. What are your nameservers? It depends what server your account is hosted on at cobwebhosts.com. Contact us with your domain at support@cobwebhosts.com to find out your nameservers. I have a domain already, is there a transfer fee for this? With your domain name you would need to amend the nameservers to point to our servers (contact us with your domain name for the nameservers alternatively these are provided in your welcome e-mail). This is a free service supplied by most domain registrars. Alternatively you can transfer your domain into our management for £30. This must be done by contacting sales@cobwebhosts.com after your account is setup. Can I create subdomains? Our hosting package allows for unlimited subdomains on your hosting account. This means that you could have a subdomain called 'shop.domain.com' for your ecommerce area and 'support.domain.com' for your help area etc. How often is the software updated? We use the latest STABLE version of all software used. Any critical updates are applied immediately.
